As a Nationally Certified Sex Addiction Therapist and Multiple Addiction Therapist, Ken Seaton has been trained by Patrick Carnes, Ph.D., personally, through the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP).  Ken is a Washington State Licensed Mental Health Therapist/Counselor (LMHC), and has over 40 years experience providing counsel and therapy in the fields of mental health, marital conflict and adddictive sexual behavior.  He is now specializing in Sexual Addiction, Marriage Counseling and treatment of individuals, couples, and families who are struggling from the devastation of the disease.

His clinical experience over the years includes:  working with adolescent violent offenders, university counseling center, church counseling center, administering a counseling program and providing counsel within an industrial setting of about 13,000 people, providing Critical Incident Stress Debriefing and Management for Firefighters, EMTs  & Law Enforement Officers, and General Private Practice.  As part of his professional career he certified as a Mediator for the local community and later certified as a Mediator and Mentor Mediator for the Federal Government.  Teaching has been an important part of Ken's life, including teaching of various undergraduate psychology college courses at the University and Community College levels for 12 years.  Additionally, he has conducted workshops and training on various topics including:  substance abuse, team building, stress, coping with change, preventing violence in the workplace, and "Supervisory Training".

Ken has been married over 46 years and understands the blessings and challenges of maintaining a marital relationship.  If you really want a successful marriage relationship, but have absolutely no idea how it could ever be,  the critical issue becomes a matter of, "How?".  It can happen;  Ken can help you.

For fun and balance, Ken really enjoys fishing, fresh or salt water.  Also, he developed a deep love for sports cars when he was about 11 years old. They (similar to people) "need someone who cares" or they will deteriorate.  This love has resulted in considerable experience in maintaining these beautiful vehicles  and helps to enable him to relate to others in many areas of life.  He has a quite diverse academic and experiential history enabling him to easily relate to others from many different walks of life.
